Recognised as a fast-rising star and trusted tastemaker of electronic music, Eich is a DJ paving the way for UK Techno to be heard through sound systems across the country.
Eich created More Cowbell in 2019 as a platform for “all things percussive and bassy” where people share the love of a dance music genre descending from UK Techno and Bass. In 2022, More Cowbell now operates as an online community, club night and record label with a brand-new Rinse FM residency that strives to keep this sound alive. Producers, presenters and disciples of dance music from all over the globe religiously post new music, radio shows, recommendations and more on the More Cowbell community discussion page, proving it to be a staple instrument of the electronic music scene in the 2020’s.
As a DJ, Eich is meticulous and empathetic, she is specific on how elements of music fit together as she wishes to give tracks the justice that they deserve, putting them in an order that feels like the right position for her to show people what can be possible in dance music. Moreover, her selections communicate exactly how she hears the music! This narrative arc is the inspiration for most of her sets because she enjoys taking people on a journey, meandering around bass-infused tracks with glitched out vocals, lots of percussion and plenty of space between everything - often focusing the route through UK Techno, Bass and House.
Her ability and precision to create such indomitable rhythm in her DJ sets has scored her bookings up and down the country, notably in London, Manchester and Bristol. With highlights being at the most popular clubs of right now - fabric, The White Hotel, Venue MOT - concluding her to be recognised by DJ Mag in January 2022 as one of ‘11 Emerging Artists You Need to Hear’. Beyond the club you can listen to Eich’s sets through renowned radio stations such as Rinse FM, SWU.FM and Balamii, where she regularly hosts shows and is invited for guest slots.
Alongside her own achievements in music, she continues to champion community through More Cowbell. Hosting events, curating collaborations and releasing music through the record label, such as the collaborative showcase event with Keep Hush in January 2022 and More Cowbell’s first vinyl EP release in November 2021. Each year the community grows in members and music knowledge, blossoming in a way that can only be possible through the power of music, with Eich conducting the way.
